1. Can every bump and dent be rectified using PDR - Paintless Dent Repair?
The majority of dents and bumps that have no paint damage (whether this is a steel or aluminium body) can be rectified simply using Riola.
Whether the Riola-Repair is suitable is dependent on several factors:
- Depth and diameter of the dent
- Position of the dent on the vehicle surface
- The contour sharpness of the item that caused the dent – the sharper it is the higher the danger of damage to the paintwork
2. Can hail damage also be repaired using Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)?
Of course, the PDR-system is particularly suitable for hail damage.
There are however limitations – dependent on the depth and the diameter of the dents.
3. Does PDR damage the existing layer of paint?
No the original paint remains in place. This increases the value of the vehicle after the repair – the chassis is put back in its original state without repainting.
4. Why should I use Paintless Dent Repair instead of conventional bodywork repairs?
Paintless Dent Repair saves you filling, painting of large surfaces and often the expensive replacement of damaged components. The value of your vehicle does not fall and you get the repaired vehicle back sooner than when using the classic repair method.
5. How long does a Paintless Dent Repair take?
A small dent takes approx. 20 minutes. Larger areas of damage (e.g. large surface hail damage) can be repaired within 3 working days. It is always shorter than a traditional repair.
6. How much does the Paintless Dent Repair cost?
Unfortunately it is not possible to give a standard price for the Riola repair or to offer a concrete price without an inspection by our engineers.
The repair costs depend on the type of damage, number of dents and where they are placed.
Just phone us (Mr. Roman Tober, Tel. (+43) 0664 30 83 262, we’ll discuss the further method of procedure for your concrete repair.
7. Which vehicles can be repaired using Paintless Dent Repair?
All – passenger cars as well as HGVs with steel and aluminium bodywork. Hödlmayr engineers have experience with all makes of vehicle.
8. Will the insurance pay for fix&save repairs?
Yes – within the framework of special agreements with certain insurance companies fix&save repairs are also recommended. This type of repair is considerably cheaper than repainting or replacing the damaged components.
